Two short bone tomahawks for the price of one — £19.99. Two bone-in ribeye steaks, 1.0-1.2kg each, so over 2kg of steak in the box.

What you get

• Two bone-in ribeye steaks, 1.0-1.2kg each
• Dinner for four, or one now and one in the freezer
• Rib bone trimmed short rather than frenched long

Same steak as our full tomahawk, same marbling through the eye, with the rib bone cut back close instead of cleaned out to full length. You lose the handle and the photograph, and you keep everything that matters — the bone still works on flavour as it cooks, and more of what you pay for is meat.

Take them out of the fridge an hour before, sear hard on both sides, finish low until they're where you want them, then rest a full ten minutes before carving. Carve along the bone first, then across the grain.

Weights are a guide. Each steak will fall within 1.0-1.2kg; we never send under.

Prepared in our own butchery and packed fresh to order, then delivered chilled in insulated packaging with ice sheets. Freeze within three days of arrival and they will keep for up to three months.

Shelf life

Check the use-by date on each pack. Suitable for freezing — freeze by the use-by date and follow the instructions on each pack for storage, defrosting and cooking.

Supplied as two individually packed steaks. Keep refrigerated on arrival.
